A few reminders about Oktoberfest...
GERMAN III and AP OKTOBERFEST is on Thursday, October 27.
GERMAN II OKTOBERFEST is on Friday, November 4.
You may work with a partner on this assignment.
This partner may be in your class or any German class.
Your assignment is to bring a German food that you have made from a recipe.
You will not get credit for store bought items (although we will eat them).
The purpose of this assignment is for you to follow a German recipe, not drive to Meijer.
Likewise, non-German food items will not earn you credit-- but will still be happily eaten :)
This assignment is worth a formative assessment grade.
You do not have to bring enough for the whole class – remember that this is just for people to have a “taste.” If you are making a cake, leave half of it at home for your family. Seriously. Often we have too much food and some must be thrown out, which is a shame. I dislike wasting food like that.
Remember to bring your “extra” thing, too (i.e. paper plates, napkins, etc.) It will be really hard to eat if we don’t have forks or other utensils. Not to mention, kind of gross.
